2. Ginger and Honey: Ginger and honey is very helpful in cough it also loosens the mucus and releases it. Take a tablespoon of Ginger juice and add 2 tablespoons of honey, mix them well and take it like a syrup two times a day.

3. Black Pepper: Add 1 teaspoon black pepper powder in hot water and add 2 teaspoons of honey, cover and leave it for 10 min. after that sip it like tea.

5. Clove: Massage the chest and nose with clove oil, it will relief from asthma, sinus, cold and cough. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties can relieve the cough problem. You can also chew cloves and eat them and if you have a lot of coughs, you can put cloves in your mouth. This will relax your throat and relieve cough for a short time.

6. Mustard oil: Pour 5-6 garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon ajwain in half a bowl of hot oil and heat it well, when the color of garlic turns dark brown then turn off the gas, when cools, filter the oil. Rub it into chest, feet, back, and throat while sleeping. This will relieve chest congestion, opens your blocked nose and will help you to get relief from the common cold. 8. Stay Hydrated: Drinking fluids help to dilute the mucus in the postnasal drip. Hydration also has a positive effect on your immune function. Drink warm water to soothe your throat.

9. Menthol: Menthol present in peppermint washes the throat and acts as a decongestant, helping to break down mucus. You can get relief by drinking peppermint tea or inhaling peppermint vapors in a steam bath.
